I went to purchase a few food items at Faithfull to nature the other day and saw a savoury ****in premix on sale by the red basket food company. It was my first time purchasing it and my ****ins turned out really good, everyone liked them. So I thought why not contact the company to enquire if they offer bulk wholesale prices. I sent through an email forgetting to add my name and I got the rudest reply from Rehana the lady I was referred to by the consultant on WhatsApp. I was insulted and called a ***ard and racially insulted the response was "no one cares".i wish I could take screenshots and post it here because wow! When I told the lady on WhatsApp I was dismissed and told "no one is calling anyone ******" My question is what does race have to do with anything? I forgot to add my name. Solution- Good day thank you for your enquiry may I ask whom I'm speaking to kindly furnish me with the details of your company and please be advised that our MOQ is so and so... Simple easy straight forward no bad energy!! But no the tribunal, insults and racial profiling. It's really did heartening the level of disrespect people of colour are faced with in general and as entrepreneurs. How do you respond to potential customers in such a manner? I'm actually genuinely hurt. But I guess in this life one has to expect the unexpected. It's important in life to do this with joy and peace and let it flow to others. There no point in doing something that gives you no peace and does teach you humility for others. Thank you
