THE RED BARN

The Red Barn situated at 7 Nelson Rd, Olifantsfontein, Johannesburg, is one of the best places to go with or without kids. Apart from the amazing menu, there is a choice to create your own master piece..... painting on cermaics, you choose what you want to paint, have lunch while painting and when you are done, your chosen peice of mastery is left to be glazed and baked, when it is ready for collection, which takes a couple of days you can go and collect it. There is also a small market with homegrown veg and plenty of divine gifts from the Rose shop, the aromatic oils are out of this world, here you can get anything and everything from Rose petals, to Rose Cordial, turkish delight, and your own roses to grow at home. This is the most delightful place to be on a weekend.
