Stay away

I would have rated 0 starts if that was an option. I got sold an iPhone XS by the real repair company and later discovered that the device had a generic screen. They claim all their secondhand phones have original apple parts but unfortunately this wasn’t the case for me. I discovered that my screen was generic after I dropped the phone and broke the LCD display and took it in to be repaired. The repairman contacted me to inform me that the damaged part had already previously been replaced with a generic part. This came as a shock to me as I was under the impression I owned a phone with original parts. The real repair company pointed the blame at the repair company I used who had absolutely no incentive to tamper with a damaged LCD screen as once it’s damaged it has no value. I still have the damaged screen in my possession. The real repair company refused to take any blame for this and took absolutely no responsibility in the matter. I’m left feeling cheated. I would not recommend ever buying a device from this company or supporting them in any way. It’s upsetting how big companies such as theirs feel like they can get away with something like this. They need to take responsibility for their mistakes and admit to their wrong-doings rather than blaming others.
