IPhone Damaged by Real Repair Co - 3 Month Nightmare

The Real Repair Co. was appointed by Discovery Insure to repair the iPhone 14 Pro, ie. replace the cracked housing. To our disappointment, the device's microphone which worked perfectly before, was damaged during this repair. The Real "DIS"Repair" Co HQ technician was eventually requested to do two final assessments after numerous unsuccessful attempts by several other technicians at the other CT branches, and shockingly this "HQ engineer" had to again be advised what the problem was, in order to assess, as he could not find the damage. Note, that we were requested that HQ assess when the previous techs had failed to sort out the damaged microphone. It appears there was no communication between the technicians or outlets (or they simply don't bother nor care) as every time the whole history would need to be repeated. The lack of expertise became evident and their stories changed several times. The experience was frustrating and much time was wasted having to take time off work to only be told to come back when replaced parts were found to be ineffective (the housing was replaced a 2nd time and then later a new microphone was ordered/fitted which made hardly any difference as the sound was still ****led). The Real Repair Co. management was contacted repeatedly and was always unavailable, never returning calls when complaints were made. There was no apology and a complete lack of accountability. After almost 3 months (13 weeks), of numerous appointments and assessments by different technicians at various Real Repair outlets in CT CBD, the iPhone was eventually replaced after several complaints were filed with Discovery Insure. We found the service to be a complete nightmare and DO NOT recommend Real "DIS"Repair Company TO ANYONE. Please do not risk your devices with this **** repair business. They do not respond to any bad reviews and simply ignore them. BUT the public record of bad reviews stands against them. NB. There are multiple bad reviews on record with evidence of bad service/ damage caused by this company.
