The Rand Club in central JHB venue definitely a BIG NO.

If you considering having any function at the Rand Club maybe you should reconsider. The building is literally falling apart with leaking sewerage pipes right outside your room and leaking onto the roof ( if you planning to stay to stay over) and in serious need of paint and repair. The staff were generally really good, however the arrogant, ****** and possibly intoxicated manager’s people skills leave a lot to be desired. As being a member that is to be so exclusive that you have to invited to join, well I’m not sure I would want to be that exclusive member when there is leaking sewerage right above where one would eat and drink. Exclusive… definitely not. In my opinion the venue needs to be shut down by the health and safety department.
