false info given to secure booking

I am extremely upset about the service I got from the ranch hotel in polokwane. I was looking for lodges that had horseback safari and the ranch was one of them. I thus called in to make sure they had this facility and I was advised by tuli that the faciltity was available thus I chose to book with them as that was the only reason I chose the ranch. on my arrival I was once again advised that I can do horseback safari or lion walk or game drive. to my disappointment when me and my wife wanted to book the horseback safari I was advised by the cleaning staff that the jockey was on leave, which the receptionist and tuli didn't even know. I thus asked don't they have someone else to do the horse riding they said he is the only person they have which I did not believe. the next day I was shown by one of the cleaning staff where the jockey was and he was actually on the premises. when I asked them why he was there but couldn't attend to us just for one hour. they said that he only came in to take the horses to a horse show. this was very poor service from them and we were not the only couple that wanted to do this. I will neva book at this hotel again and I will advise others as well
