Unfair Practise

I was informed today by the lawyer that the landlord notified him that they won't be refunding my deposit because of the post on HelloPeter. Knewing this in the back of our minds it came as no surprise as the way they run their sneaky business I knew that it was going to be impossible to get my money back. My money is now being kept from me just as they run their business, *********!!! To my knowledge THE DEPOSIT IS THE TENANTS MONEY, THE LANDLORD KEEPS AND INVESTS IT IN A TRUST ACCOUNT ON BEHALF OF THE TENANT TILL THE TENANT MOVES AND THEN THE DEPOSIT MUST BE PAYED BACK WITH INTEREST. IT IS NOT THE LANDLORDS MONEY. Personally it like I have been ****** and now I must go great lengths to recover my own money. If this landlord was not quilty of any of the above facts that I previously stated out on my post, they would not have punished me like this. Clearly Suspicion must be raised for this wrong deed that they are not committing. People be warned with who you do business with. Do your research, ask around and be vigilant when choosing your landlords. Thinking of it, maybe I should post my nightmare ( because it is my own personal experience and no gossiping) on my social media platforms as a warning for other people so that they know not to walk in to the same situation as I am in. I ask for people to advise me on this situation.
