Horrible treatment of wait staff

<p>Horrible treatment of the best waiter, who is punished because customers ask to be served by him. He does not get the commission and the tip goes to the other waiter! I asked for Nazeer to serve our table as he is always friendly, attentive, knows what I want and when. And the female waitress assigned to our table was sullen and miserable. The manager said no problem. But when we asked to pay, the sullen female waitress was back to take the payment and without delay took the R110 cash tip we left for Nazeer and pocketed it! When I then asked to speak to the manager again, he had no time for me and insisted that "for the past 8 or 9 months Nazeer has been doing this" and that they are busy with disciplinary procedures against him and that I should not get involved in their operations. I have been going to that restaurant for almost 10 years (even before it changed to The Raj Nazeer was working there) and last night was my last visit.</p>
