What a sad bunch at Woodmead (cell phone stock to noses)

What a sad sad experience, walked into Woodmead Pro shop and went to buy a fairway wood , asked 5 people for help who were all to busy in their cell phones or talking to suppliers anyway eventually got a guy who’s head was stuck in his cell handed me three clubs put me in the test range said all of two words eventually after a few drives I decided on the callaway asked him for a new club he was so busy with his cell he handed me a different club after 5 minutes of explaining it’s the wrong club he eventually apologised and corrected it went to pay and realised I’d like a sand wedge went back down with no help again struck a luck got cell phone man handed me a club saying it’s on special only to be told it’s not , went to the two managers who are also way to busy to help because their cell phones were way to important and got told to bad it’s not on special and they can’t help . They couldn’t even look at me while they were to busy in the phones , I spent R4500 on a fairway wood I know it’s not major but a little respect and help goes a long way . I now know why most of the people I saw there were old timers the youngsters are going where they are helped and treated by friendly helpful staff who are attentive and want to help not a store where u are ignored
