The Not so Pro Shop
<p>I ordered some items from the online shop of The Pro Shop. the goods were delivered but the skirt was a size too big so we requested a swap. The returns process was abomidable and when compared to companies like Takealot I don't see them dominating the online scene. I was told that both parcels contained a returns policy, which was not the case. I had to pay R240 to courier the skirt back to Sonja van Wyk in JHB before she would send the smaller skirt. Other companies, like I said to her, would do an onsite swap - FREE OF CHARGE!! I have asked her if this was normal for the Pro Shop and she has ignored the question.</p> <p> </p> <p>I cannot see myself supporting them in a hurry again.</p>

It seems there was a miss understanding, we offer a "drop and collect" service for instances like this. The courier would come to you with the correct size and you return the incorrect one to them directly. They then bring it back to us.
It seems that the return was done while the team was sourcing the correct sizing for you. Unfortunately our online division is currently reliant on stock from the branches and as a result they don't carry every option available, this leads to some delays at times.
We are striving to improve the online division all the time, but since this is not the core of our business we can not yet be compared to the likes of a takealot whom only offer online shopping to their clients.
Once again apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you, although I can not refund you the courier fee, I can offer you the same value in the form of a gift card should you decide to give the team another chance in the future.
