Super softball Competition July 5th
<p> The Pro Shop run a competition on July 5th 2016:"" Correctly guess what the compression is and stand a chance to WIN Supersoft golf ***** for a year! One entry per person. Competition closes at midnight 2016/07/07. Winner announced via FB 2016/07/08.""</p> <p> </p> <p>So i went onto the website to read everyting on the Callaway Supersoft *****. Clearly there was it, stated: It has only 38 compression points. Easy answer: 38</p> <p> </p> <p>On Friday July 8th, after the competition has close on July 7th at midnight. the choose the winner, we gave a answer : 35.</p> <p> </p> <p>just after they change the info on there website.</p> <p> </p> <p>When i contacted them about this issue, someone come back to me and rep**** after i said it doesnt help to copy and paste, they insist its just a human error and it wasnt copied and paste. they assure me about this. only to find that its been copy and paste. there is more proof about this on the internet.</p> <p> </p> <p>i think its false advertising and misleading people. AND what to say about this so called "competition" that the Pro Shop?! with what else are they misleading customers???</p> <p> </p> <p>This was their response:</p> <p>"Mistakes happen *****, we are just human. If we hadcopy and pasted the compression on the website would have stated 35. It has been corrected. We apologise if we have offended you or caused you any inconvenience."</p> <p> </p> <p>but i can prove that in this case, they actually gave the wrong info, as its all over the internet!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
When you try to leave a review on their Facebook Page, only to realize that you are BLOCKED by the Page Admin.

Its actually shocking that a company like "The Pro Shop" actually make sur eyou cant leave comment or contact them using the message box. And that after i bought all my golf stuff at The Pro Shop. Im actually really stunned by their actions!

There seems to have been a severe miss understanding here. All the information on our website reflects the data as indicated by international websites. At the time of taking this promo to social media we, like most others in the world believed the stated 38 Compression to be the correct number. We were later informed by Callaway SA that this number should in fact be 35.
This led to some changes in the form of:
- Altering the copy on the website to reflect the new correct value as indicated to us.
- Entering everyone into the competition, not only the ones whom had answered 35.
As "Mr Murphy" would have it however the drawn winner happened to have answered 35. I see in our correspondence to you via private messages on facebook that we had apologised to you twice in the string, due to this being human error.
Allow me to apologise once more on behalf of The Pro Shop for the inconvenience this has caused you.
