Price non-matched!

This occurred during the end of May lock down period and has been bugging me ever since. The Pro Shop has a price match and beat policy whereby you get the difference plus 10% off between their price and their competitors. Now, had tried to get them to match a price for the cobra f9 irons which was going for R8000 at the Golfers club whereas theirs was going for R12000. After back and forth via emails and cell calls with the pro shop at their HQ,on 02 June, I receive a quite for... wait for it...R9999.98. I immediately declined the offer as the price was not even matched. Some service from the pro shop. I was left rather disappointed by all this and will probably take my money elsewhere. Quote ref was 1***4.
