Never again

One star is one too many, but it won’t let you give a zero! I remember the Pro Shop from a few years back. It was a pleasure to go there. Now, it’s as if they don’t want to sell you anything. The attitude to the pre owned clubs was unbelievable: a used set on offer for 500 rand less than the brand new set. Five hundred! The guy explained to me that the second hand price was set before the new clubs were reduced in price. Sorry? Could we negotiate? One or two hundred rand off was the best on offer, and that had to be checked with the manager. Stunningly inept. The price of clubs here is anyway absurdly high compared to Europe, but I guess that’s down to import duty. But if you won’t even enter sensible negotiations over a used set, well .. I imagine they’ll just sit there gathering dust until they’re obsolete. I won’t be going back.
