I’ve always been a fan of supporting the small business wherever possible. I posted asking for someone to assist me with a CCTV installation. We were based in Johannesburg at the time and wanted to have the installation done when we arrived. I already did an inverter and aluminium door installation from Johannesburg with no issue.

I was messaged by a Christo Werner Botha among others, from a company called The Print Biz Pty Ltd, based at 2 Chasselas Street, Die Wyngerd. I asked for a quotation for R 13 659.00 which I received on the 2nd of September 2022. We paid a 50 percent deposit on the same day.

We asked for an installation on Monday, the 19th of September 2022 as that was when we were moving into our new house. On Sunday the 18th of September he messaged me to say he way delayed because of load shedding and would like to install on Wednesday the 21st. He then postponed to the 22nd. I threw my toys a bit and he said he would get a sub contractor to assist me on the 22nd of September. On the said morning, he was supposedly burgled and he said he would send my a SAPS case number. This never happened. I then asked for a refund to get another installer. He said he would do that on the weekend as he was receiving payments from other jobs done. On Monday the 26th the payment was loaded for release. Needless to day this never happened. I was then assured of payment by the 29th of September and again this past weekend.

Today, the 3rd of October there is still no money and only more stories.

Please do not deal with this man or company. We are now going down the legal route to recover our money.
