unwillingness to serve customers

on the easter weekend my friend and i went to the newtown junction mall to have lunch , we stopped at the potato shed and a waiter standing at the door informed us that they no longer serve food but we could only get beverages at that time , mind you it was around 15;00 ...so we didnt argue considering the fact that its easter sunday and they might close earlier we then decided to go to news cafe . I think we spent an hour and 30 minutes at news cafe and when we walked out potato shed was still open and there were people being served food,we walked over there to ask why we wouldnt be served and asked to speak to a manager ...he came and apologized and said he would compensate us with a meal ,that he would call or we can call ....waited a few weeks and didnt get a cal from him so i called ...on the call he tells me a different story and when i pointed out that he was now going against the original statement he said that he would call again .....i am still waiting for that call a week later .
