Pot Luck Club needs to step it up. Disappointed.

I've always wanted to go to The Pot Luck Club. They have an award winning chef and an amazing reputation. I can not be more disappointed with my experience. We went for my sister's birthday. We were 20x ppl spending almost R1000 each. You would think that the service would be of the highest standard? It was not. We were not welcomed by the door but rather instructed to all move back immediately and sanitize first. (not in a nice way). I wasn't asked if I wanted anything to drink other than the time they came around serving water. The meals were not covid friendly and there was a constant shortage of cutlery. I left feeling done in. At a time when going out is rare and even spending that amount of money (which I didn't necessarily have to spend). I think a massive part of the problem was that a 12% service fee was obligatory and therefor no effort needed by the waitress. Just not deserving of anything more than one star. Very disappointing.
