**** hole of a place The Point Hotel Mosselbay

We arrived at the hotel and stayed there from 24/12/18 till 26/12/2018. We purchased a package deal whereby we will get drinks as well as snacks including the breakfast and supper. We also reserved for the Christmas buffet for Christmas Day. When we arrived, hungry from the long drive we asked for snacks to be sent to the room, guess what we got, some stale Samoosa and old pies. Disgusting!!!to say the least. For supper we had to wait for almost 2 hours for it to arrive. Let it be known that there were Indians possibly from India as they spoke Hindi, who were catered to and their plates were refilled constantly while we had to sit and wait. Terrible service and unprofessional. On Christmas Day for the buffet half of the items advertised on the menu was not there. I asked for it and the manager or whoever she was, Melanie said unfortunately the chef did not make it. ***??? Leaving the buffet still hungry, we paid for this!!!! For supper, which was included in the package that we PAID for, when we arrived the waiter said bad news the chefs were given off and the Indian chef that was there was only catering for the Indians. How the **** is that not discriminatory. We ended up going next door for supper whereby the point hotel paid for it. This is the ****iest place I have ever been to. They are unprofessional and disorganized. The whole Christmas buffet was a total flop and we didn’t even get the snacks that was included in the package. The rooms were filthy and not to even speak about the cutlery on the table. I had to go wash our cutlery when we ate our breakfast prepared by them. Disgusting place. Never setting foot there again and would never recommend it to anyone. Had the worst experiences.
