A ZERO integrity business!!

A staff member (Michael), from "The Plumbery" in Durbanville, damaged my parked vehicle whilst on a job in Oostersee. The driver (Michael) apparently did not pull up his handbrake and rolled back into my parked car causing R23000 worth of damage to my car. The person (Michael) was there when I arrived at my car saying that he is sorry and provided me with his contact number. My vehicle was still drivable.. so I continued with my day as per usual.. thinking that this person (Michael), or company (The Plumbery) would get in touch with their insurance and sort the matter out. After two days NOTHING had happened, so I got in touch with the driver (Michael) to ask what was happening, only to find out that nothing has been done and that he wants me to contact his boss (Rob Gardner).

So.. They are expecting me to everything myself! They made me go to the police station to get a Accident Report. They made ask for all the information I needed from them. They made me get two different repair quotes from two different companies.. They put me in touch with their broker.. (who knows why).. who I was trying to chat to for some co-operation in this matter. The insurance broker's name is apparently "Deon Du Preez" who apparently works for "Phoenix Insurance Brokers North", (another company I need to write a review on..). This person (Deon Du Preez) provided NO HELP AT ALL! NO ASSISTANCE! All he told me was that the matter was actually with Santam. That's it!

It's absolutely disgusting and appalling how little integrity these people have for you when they are not benefiting anything from you. I imagine their business ethics are no different!

Stay away from The Plumbery! They are cheap-skates who just want your money and have no integrity.
