Perfect night turned awefull

Rooms are fine, location is fine. The service deserves a 1 star. We came to watch the Boks at DHL Stadium. Shuttle was arranged for drop off and pickup. Drop off was fine. Collection a mess. Collection was scheduled for 19:30 at the drop off point. 19:10 the shift manager phoned me and said the driver could not enter the drop off point, which was understandable. He informed us the driver is across the street at Ultra Liquors, waiting for us. Walked there and arrived 19:25. 19:30 phoned the hotel and said we can not find the driver. Hotel said they will contact the driver. 20:00 i phoned again as we still not met up with the driver. We were informed by the hotel that the driver is at the original drop off point and will come to us. 20:30 the driver was not there. We had to walk in the bad weather to the hotel, with my mother of 70 years. Instead of a sincere apology from the shift manager we got lies and sequence of events was conveyed to senior managemend by the shift manager to justify the mess. 19:10 informed the driver was not allowed to enter the area and IS ALREADY waiting at another location and we must go there. 20:00 he is at a place where he was not allowed in after we were told to go to where was. The shift manager changed the sequence of event to justify what happened. Senior management did not make any effort to speak to us regarding the mess. They insulted us by offering a free meal as we have missed our dinner reservation. We did not visit the hotel for free stuff, we visited the hotel to make use of the services as advertised. Extremely unprofesional management. All we wanted was a sincere appology, instead, we get lies to justify their mess.
