Damage deposit

Good day all, we made a reservations via bookings.com at The Pearl 3rd floor Summerstrand from 29 September to the 3 of October 2023, the Host contact number is +***1, so we were charged R1500 for security or damage fee and it was promised we will receive it after 7 days of check out. Then after 7 days we did enquire was said all the deposits were paid and the finance manager is on sick leave then the contact person will do a follow up on what is holding the payment, after so many follow up messages we were advised that the linen had stains of make-up mark, the container on the fridge is dirty and there was a substance on the ceiling hence it was held back. So we would like to be assisted to get back our money as we spent 5 days there with no one to change the linen, it was due to be dirty and we only received the pictures of what they claim as the 17 October 2023.
