Unsafe shopping at Pavilion Durban on Saturday

Don't shop at the Pavilion on a Saturday - you never know when it might be turned into a concert venue with no regard for the health and safety of shoppers. I went shopping at 5pm on 31 Aug and parked in the open section as a concert was pumping out deafening music in the covered section. Dusk and getting dark just before 7pm coming from Checkers I tried to navigate the trolley ramp adjacent to the "concert venue" up to the parking level, being roughly overtaken by youths reeking of alcohol. The lights were off for the strobe lighting of the concert and I tripped over the edge of the ramp at the top. A crushing fall shattered my wrist and it will take months of healing and reconstructive surgery to regain use. My husband complained to management but was met with disinterest and "we will look at the camera footage". Not a word of apology, not a note while in hospital. Five messages for the GM to phone - no response. Shameful health and safety standards! We are your target market, we shop at the stores regularly and as we get older it does become more difficult to see in the dark - have some respect!
