Terrible experience @The observatory gold club

We hosted my 21st birthday party at the Observatory golf club on Saturday, 21 November 2021.

The function venue itself comfortably accommodated my 90 guests.

The course is well maintained and well-manicured for photos

Whilst some staff were friendly and helpful others were abrupt and behaved as if they were doing us a favor(eg. The manager was extremely rude to me and our guests before my party could even begin)

The up keep of the kitchen is not maintained and poses hygiene issues

Unfortunately my night ended with great devastation as my 15 gifts went missing from the bin of our Ford ranger bakkie that was parked in the parking lot of the club and when the matter was raised with the chairman of the club we were advised that the parking lot was not their responsibility.

So please caution as there are people roaming the parking lot despite there being security guards at the entrance of the club and the responsibility of the cars and their contents becomes that of the host of the function.

We will certainly not be returning
