Laptop Repair gone wrong

This company was phoned to ask if a repair could be done on my Laptop with an intermittent port. They said yes. The unit was booked in and a week later they said NO repair is possible, the motherboard needs replacing. The issue is the lady said that the repair will be less than R750 and not need a motherboard. Seems they take in units knowingly they cannot repair it and then charge a R350 fee.

2. They erased my hard drive. I now have to sit hours and hours re-installing all the Apps and games. This was absolutely unnecessary as the faulty port was a hardware issue not a software issue. Unprofessional.

Do not take your Laptop to this place to repair.
