NDRC doesnt help, they take more than they help you

Terrible service

So when I started in 2020 I agreed and amount of R 7400 over a 36 months I was not informed that I would be paying after that I was told that that was the amount. Also I was told they could get the interest rates lowered and I would end up paying less going through them

I am now paying this for 42 months and according to Yolanda I still have another 18 months to go.

I am confused R 7400 * 60 is R 444 000

Apparently and amount of R 7016.80 is allocated to debt. Meaning i have paid R 294 705.60 towards debt

My initial debt was about R 300 000.00

According the debt review center I still need to pay another 18 months which makes no sense to me. This works out to another R 126 302.40

That is more than a R 100k than what I owed initially. So how are they helping people get rid of debt, sounds more to me like they are taking advantage of people in dire situations and that have fallen on desperate times
