What a guy!

If you ever have to move house, internationally in my case, I cannot recommend Guy from The Moving Guy company, and his team, enough!

Guy (the guy that owns and manages the The Moving Guy company) will come to you house personally, after a few few quick measurements and a walk through, explain to you some tips regarding shipping restrictions of your destination country and possible solutions to get around them, offer different delivery options and a quote a bit later that same day if I recall correctly!

Once you finished getting more quotes from other shipping companies and tried to find any reviews on The Moving Guy (which almost doesn't exist because it does take a special kind of person to take the time to write positive reviews ;-) and you realize no one else can touch Guy on price, experience and that personal touch, you decide to bite the bullet and give Guy the call to make it happen.

When the day comes to move, his team will pull up with their truck, pack up everything you point at while taking the utmost care that your valuables are protected for the journey, and soon you will find yourself standing in an empty house realizing you actually had a lot more space than you thought!

A few months later, you have settled yourself in across the pond (Canada in my case and were were first looking to buy a house before we had everything shipped so it was in storage with Guy for the duration) you give Guy a call on WhatsApp and after a bit of catchup and confirming the final destination, Guy confirms an approximate date of arrival.

About 8 weeks later( and this was also around the start of the COVID pandemic), I was contacted by the local shipping company that Guy arranged for the last leg of the move.

After a quick visit to the local customs office on the delivery day, everything was cleared and my shipment followed me to my new house. 2 hours later, everything was standing around in their designated rooms. I just had to remove the packaging and voila! ...I was wondering what happened to all the space I had the day before.

Believe me, Guy is the man to take care of you, end-to-end, for your immigration shipping needs, and probably the same great service even if you aren't moving abroad. He has years of expertise, a great team, a "can do" attitude and a heart of gold.
