THE METER MAN'S RATES ARE DOUBLE

Hi there

I see that the prepaid electricity rate is R1.00 more than any other person I know. My dad gets 160 units for his R200 while I only get 80 units. You says it is based on the municipality rate but the other house on the EXACT SAME property where I live (obviously using a different supplier and not The Meter Man) ALSO gets 160 units for R200. You guys are ripping us off! We are three people in a house and we aren't even home during the week and we're spending R800 a month on electricity! I think your story about the municipality rate is bogus! Be honest with your clients and reduce the rate to what the majority is paying! Please, it's not right!

Hello spilleritz,

From what you are saying, I suppose you stay in a cottage, and the main house has a municipal prepaid meter installed. In this case if a sub meter is installed in a cottage, the rate is set according to the rate that the people in the main house are being charged.

Please send your meter number to *** and I will follow this up.

kind regards
Juliana
