I need answers from the meter man.

Still confused, spoke to Juliana yesterday I’m still waiting for a breakdown of the invoice from Thandi since I was charged with a bill of R5130, I want to know how it reached that amount. What is their actual electricity unit Price? Is it in line with the NERSA? Are they even allowed to load the invoice on your meter at 95% recovering? Does the constitution law even allow that?

The R460 you paid on the day of the inspection was not a reconnection fee it was a call out fee to come and inspect the meter as we were denied access in the morning.

You have confirmed that you moved in on the 1st of September 2020 and the invoice has been adjusted accordingly.

Purchases made prior to tampering were used to get the average outstanding electricity Sep R574,20 Oct R348 Nov R217.50 add all those amounts to get average. 21 Nov – 20 Dec & 21 December – 20 January no purchases on the meter (periods which meter was bypassed).

You only purchased off R437 debt, so should you calculate all these amounts you should get the same outstanding balance we have given you.

You paid R1000 on the 13rd of January which does reflect on the invoice. We know you already paid this so the balance is minus the R1000.

Please note that it is ******** to tamper & ***** electricity as its theft and a ******** case can be opened against you. The body corporate is in charge of the complex and they may request for debt or blockings to be loaded onto the meter as they have been at a loss due to ******** tampering. Should you have any issues with the debt loaded onto the meter please take it up with the body corporate.
Also note the tariff on a meter is set per the municipal account that the Body Corporate receives. The rate on the meters in Siesta Villa is set exactly as per the municipal charges.
