A big thank you for the assistance I received from Afzal at Mattress Warehouse Durban. He was able to advise me on the purchase I had made, informing me that the bases purchased were not suited to the mattresses purchased. My online order was somehow filtered to PE and they were amazing enough to forward it to Durban, which put me in touch with Afzal who advised that he would waive the delivery fee, as we were nearby and use that money to upgrade the bases to a better quality.
