Shoddy Service and poor product knowledge.
Two weeks ago I went to The Mattress Warehouse in Route 21 Pretoria with cash in hand. My wife has in the past had excellent service and had recommended that we buy our new mattress there.
After being greeted at the reception the young gentleman took us into the warehouse but sadly he had no knowledge of the products or suggestions of what options were available. Stock levels are low he said (due to COVID) and they are moving to be more online so did not have mattresses we could try (huh).
We said our goodbyes, no other staff offered to help and the result was wasted time and effort. From there we went to Bed King. Fantastic service and knowledgeable staff, we ended up buying their best mattress, sheets and a cover, money which I'm sure would have been the best sale The Mattress Warehouse had had all week.
Neither my wife are likely to ever set foot back in The Mattress Warehouse.
