Lack of assistance

I bought a mattress and base set from The Mattress Warehouse in Randburg in July of 2019. At first I bought the Restonic Napcare Mattress. At that date it was the only stock they had in the store and it seemed to be of reasonable quality when I tested it. This turned out to not be true as the mattress collapsed and had to be changed twice. Eventually in March 2020 they exchanged the mattress for a Rest Assured Eton mattress which after having for a week I could tell was also not good quality. I called the store to request an upgrade which I was willing to pay for but was given the run around. In May I visited the physical store and was told that the was nothing they could do to assist me as this would contravene lockdown regulations. Furthermore in June I followed up with them after lockdown regulations had been lifted , in response to this to this a rest assured technician was sent to come and assess the mattress, the result of which I still have not gotten to this day. I followed up with them again in November and still did not receive a response from either the manufacturer or the store. When I emailed them again on 21/12/2020 the response I received was that the manufacturer had closed and they would prioritise the matter in the new year. The manufacturer opens on the 11th of Jan 2021. That means I have to endure another month plus of a creaking mattress and low quality sleep.
