Buyers BEWARE

I ordered a Sealy base and mattress from The Mattress Warehouse. Instead I was delivered a Sealy mattress, and a no name substandard quality base. The base didn't even last 3 weeks. Attempting to log a return or swap out I was given the run around and promised the world. Not a single promise, or deadline was met. They have missed 4 to date in total.

It seems this is how they make a profit, by saving hundreds of rands on each base and sending the customer some no name piece of ****. This may not be true of all the branches but the Cape Town branch appears to be staffed by a bunch of grifters. From the manager throwing her staff under the bus, to transferring me to a new person every time they miss a deadline.

I have heard to following lies/excuses: The replacement product arrived broken The person you were dealing with is sick I just got off the phone with Sealy Friday by the latest turns into Monday, turns into Thursday, etc.

Avoid this company.
