Delivers damaged goods, no effort to replace

I ordered and paid a king size mattress and base from Mattress Palace and it got delivered in October 2015 to my house. After a day I realized that the material on the side was torn and pulling away from the foam along the seam. The next day I emailed detailed photos to Mattress Palace and requested replacement. I also phoned to confirm if they received the mail. They confirmed and I was told that they will speak to their supplier and it will be replaced. It is now 5 months later and two more emails later (both unanswered), six more phone calls and many promises later NOTHING has happened. Always nice on the phone, promising to phone me back, and even promising a collection date (which never happened). NOT ONCE was I contacted by Mattress Palace in any way. Sadly my conclusion is that I have been dealing with a company where the customer is left to himself after he has paid and dishonesty is acceptable. Will warn friends and colleagues to stay away from Mattress Palace. What a disappointing experience! "
