Not up to the standard of Sun International...don't bother!

An event was arranged with Alinah Seage at the Maslow Pretoria by one of the St Mary DSG matric girls for their pre-drinks and photo's and as a thank you to their parents, all in all about 25 people. After a number of emails backwards and forwards, it was decided on a venue with ****tail tables. Due to their limited budget, the parents decided that we would order our own drinks and food once there. (We ended up spending a further R2000 on drinks and food, which could have been more had some parents not left in disappointment)

What an utterly disappointing and embarrassing venue awaited us on arrival, a stark, bare conference room, no effort was made at all! Service was dismal on ordering food and drinks, place was dirty. I have conveyed my unhappiness to Alinah, who as an Events Coordinator, is condoning what she gave us - I am rather shocked as this is not the standard we would expect from Sun International. Would definitely not recommend this venue. further complaints to Sun International remain unanswered.
