Hall and catering

The worst hall to cater a event , to cater the event we were charged R 350.00 per person, total for 100 people, R38000.00, 1st red flag, parking for the disabled, that's it. Have to climb to steep flight of stairs. Disabled friendly?. 2nd red flag, instead of the hosts greeting the guest, the owners father, who we don't know from a bar of soap is greeting the guests? What was paid to cater the event was not provided, buffet was supposed to be self service, but staff was dishing out measly portions of food, example I was served 2 tiny pieces of lamb, 2 potatoes and 2 pieces of broccoli, the server removed 1 piece of lamb, potatoe and broccoli, when question he became defensive, explained that we paid R350.00 per person and you are serving us kiddies portions. Lack of food and desserts provided, we we served like R80.00 per person, instead of the R350.00 that was paid, 1st owner mingling amongst the guests looking for business. The DJ provided by the hall was the only person that was served 2 huge plates of food,plus he had the nerve to ***** 2 six pack of beers. Staff ,rude, clueless on how to cater to guests, owner kept complaining about breakage of tumblers, but it was included in the hire of the hall .food that was promised was delivered including desserts, guests left hungry, buffet is self service, but her rude staff was dishing out the food, alcohol that we provided was ****** by her staff,including food, for a table of ten, the starters included 4 spring rolls and 4 Samosas, for 10 people, we had provide our own cool drinks for each table, to top it off the owner tells us to leave a 5 star review. Worst service ever, not recommended, highly not recommended, owner is clueless on how to run a business, what was promised and what was delivered is 2 different things Event was spoilt by a clueless owner and staff, no security provided to guard the cars Not recommended at all for the price paid, people need to think twice about hiring this hall.
