Disgusting Service

<p>I purchased an old Telefunken television, one of which I could find very few via the Gumtree ad. Tony began communication reasonably well with video footage showing the tv in working condition of which it was. I decided that the best way to ship it to CT was via a courier. To get the info from Tony took FOREVER! Eventually I got the necessary and was about to arrange courier but I needed dimensions of the box it was so called packed. This again took FOREVER until I eventually had to chase him once again. He eventually calls back but tells me that he uses Postnet all the time to post fragile goods...and nothing has ever gone wrong so I should consider this option. I decide to take the mans advice just because I want to get this thing over and done with. I make payment for the tv and the postage and send off confirmation. He tells me the goods will leave that same day and that they will be packed like he would pack his own...'very well' I assumed. The following week around Wednesday I contact him to find out where the parcel would be since I have had no contact from Postnet. 30min later I have a foreign african lady call me saying she is terribly sorry to have not posted it yet but doesnt have a phone or email and so she hadnt seen the payment confirmation and will need the address to send to. This is where I started to get really frustrated. I had emailed all the contact details and addresses to Tony in the previous week...it seems his business it VERY process DISFUNCTIONAL! </p> <p>I once again send through all the details and receive a waybill via whatsapp with an apology. The television arrives with a cracked screen visor and when I plug the TV in which had its open wires soldiered to the double pin plug, the unit is not working!!!! I whatapp him pictures but receive no apology. Conclusion bought a tv and paid R750 for Postnet to break it for me. Great advice Tony!!</p> <p>This man is strictly unprofessional so I would suggest you stay clear.</p>
