Empty promises, no response, terrible workmanship - all topped by no accountability

After being warned not to use this company, I still took a damaged rim there for repair because (at first glance) their workshop facilities seem decent. The wheel I wanted fixed had some minor (yet clearly visible) kerb rash - normally an easy fix, but I knew colour matching would take some s****, as it is a very specific shade of silver. I stated on multiple occasions before booking the wheel in that I wanted the colour and finish matched to the other three wheels on the car. "No sir, don't worry, it will be very very close", I was promised each time. After receiving my repaired rim (later than promised), I immediately saw that it was a completely different colour to the other wheels. If they had told me they can't match it in the first place, I would have redone all four or just left it. Now I was stuck with a different coloured rim and staff shrugging at me. "Ja, you won't get it any closer, hey". Was the spraypainter's attititude when I pointed it out to him.

But wait, there's more! Two weeks after their "repair" I noticed cracks in the surface of the paint. Soon, large chunks of paint and filler started peeling off. I admit that I did not even attempt to give them a chance to fix it, because if a company can't even spray a rim properly the first time, I have an extremely low opinion of their abilities to do it right the second time. I found another company, who for the same amount of money fixed the wheel completely and matched it so precisely that even I had a hard time figuring out which rim was repaired. I won't mention names - my goal is not to advertise a different company, but rather to warn people against the useless bunch at The Mag Specialist (TMS).
