Dissapointed and seeking a refund
On Monday morning I bought 2 t-shirts at The Lot in Waterfront. I was specifically looking for rock and roll theme Tshirts, ***L. This is for my dad's gift for Father's Day as he's a fanatic of rock and roll.
Luckily The Lot had these and I purchased them. I was assisted by a nice young consultant (won't name drop). Bear in mind I asked for ***L and she gave me Large. She convinced me that the Tshirts stretches and it would fit. I trusted her opinion seeing that she works at the store. But coming to think of it now, she was trying to push a sale. She didn't care for the fact that I wanted ***L. She didn't even tell me that ***L is not available. When she rang the Tshirts on the till, I picked up one and said "but this is Large". She said it's the same as ***L. It will fit because it stretched and she demonstrated to me.
Obviously the Tshirts didn't fit my father. Now, I got back to the store to return and apparently I can't get a refund. She did mention to me that I might not be able to get a refund but a credit. But honestly I wouldn't have bought these if it wasn't for her.
Now I'm stuck, I can't make use of the Tshirts and there is no ***L for the Tshirts. My dad really likes them but he can't wear them. Now this is frustrating to me because I don't usually buy anything from The Lot and I cannot accept the credit. I was misled by an employee of The Lot not realizing that I was shooting myself in the foot. I would like to get a refund for the Tshirts. I've sent an email to ********** and haven't had any response. Lastly, what are u going to do about your employees that are deceiving people just to push a sale?
