Local Grill Parktown North - Extremely bad service

This is about the Local Grill Parktown Restaurant. We were served by Phillip on the evening of 30th April 2022 and he coughed whilst holding our food and was reprimanded by my dining partner Mrs Tsakane Nkwe. Phillip (I hope I have the correct name but the owner Mr Mateza can attest to this as we complained to him though we have not received any report or steps taken against the said waiter) became very angry and told us to leave the establishment as we had insulted him by saying he coughed as he does not cough at all by nature. His mask was on his chin as he served us and not properly covering his mouth and nose. He continued to berate us as we asked that we be served by a different waiter. he was circling the area that we were seated at even as we were being served by another waiter. We felt abused and he looked as if he wanted to attack us physically. He ordered us to leave as we had insulted him. I informed him that we are clients and he should respect us. We requested a manager to no avail and the owner eventually came to our table to hear our side of events after much waiting on our side. He (Mr Mateza) promised to contact us after investigations but we are yet to hear from him again since that day. We were disrespected by a waiter and felt unprotected by the establishment during the whole episode. Phillip really intimidated and disrespected us. We love this restaurant but this waiter brought a very bitter taste in our mouths. He was rude and extremely abusive. He actually wanted to wrestle a plate of ribs out of my hands during the whole episode telling us that he is cancelling our order, he will pay for the meal and that we must just get out! A horrible experience indeed! And still no response from the management. We gave it 2 weeks but here we are.
