Be smart and avoid major drama

We initially booked Zeoné from Lightbulb Photography in May 2022. After we paid the deposit to secure our wedding date, she told us about a special with a discount if we paid in full before a certain date. We then obviously made the full payment to receive the discount. As soon as she received all the money all communication from her side stopped. I had to continuously reach out to her. For weeks she would not respond and then would have all kinds of excuses. After she cancelled an hour before our engagement shoot was supposed to happen, we decided to rather cancel her services and ask for our money back (this was well in advance to the wedding). She has since had all kinds of excused for not paying the money back. She also threatened to sue us for defamation of character because of our Hello Peter reviews. It's six weeks after our wedding and we still haven't gotten our money back. We have opened a case against her at SAPS and would like other couples who had the same experience with her to please reach out to us.
