Avoid or lose your money

We had booked our wedding photography with The Lightbulb owned by Zeone Burger/Liebenberg in January 2022 through one of her specials, which she bombards you with and paid the 50% required deposit. She then came with another special that should we pay the full amount we will receive extra photo albums, she also offered an engagement shoot Special that we booked as well. I also booked extras with her as gifts for family members, which was paid as well, she kept on promising that she will send the vouchers and yet nothing was received.

We did our engagement shoot with her, and she said that it will take 2 weeks for us to receive our photos it took almost a month before we had our photos after countless phone calls and promises from her side that she will send it. We eventually received the photos, I was so disappointed as the photos is of poor quality, which was not at all the type of work that has been advertised and seen on social media. The photos are so bad I can not even print them. She also did a video for us, but this also cannot be used as the file is ******* , she promised she will send me a new one, to this date I have not received this new video.

After this horrible experience we had, we also heard and read all the horrific stories about her and decided to cancel our booking, this was done 7 months before our wedding, which is more than enough time for her to repay our money, ever since the cancellation we have been trying to contact her on various occasions via email, WhatsApp, telephone and even went so far as to send her a letter from our lawyer, but she has not responded to any of this, or pay our money back. We have reported her to the authorities and would like other couples who had the same experience to please reach out.
