I started laser treatment here in February last year for bikini/Brazilian and was initially told I would need around 12 sessions. A month later, my original the****** left the company and I was handed over to another the******. From there, things became extremely disappointing and honestly felt misleading. I stayed consistent with my treatments and spent approximately R15,000–R16,000 in total. Some months I was even booked for two sessions. I did see temporary patchy results, but the hair kept growing back in the exact same areas. Instead of properly addressing this earlier, I was later told the reason the treatment “wasn’t working” was because I have PCOS/PMOS. My issue is this: why was this not properly discussed during my consultation and evaluation before I spent thousands of rand? If my condition could affect results to this extent, why was I continuously encouraged to continue paying around R1,600 per month for more and more sessions? What made this even more frustrating is that they eventually referred me to another the******/company for electrolysis — meaning they don’t even provide the service themselves. Ironically, the electrolysis the****** informed me that PCOS does not necessarily prevent laser from working properly, which completely contradicts what I was told here. Offering me two free sessions after spending this amount of money does not fix the issue. I was never looking for freebies — I was happy to pay for a treatment that worked and for honest expectations from the beginning. Going from a promised 12 sessions to roughly 18 sessions with little lasting improvement is unacceptable in my opinion. I’m sharing this so that other clients can make informed decisions before committing financially. I would appreciate a response directly from the owner regarding this experience.
