Urgent Complaint Regarding Incorrect Charges and Unresolved Maintenance Issues
Dear Landmark Estate Management, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction and frustration regarding several unresolved issues concerning my accommodation and the services provided at Landmark Estate. Firstly, I am currently residing in a bachelor flat; however, I continue to receive additional charges that appear to be inconsistent with the type of unit I occupy. According to my lease agreement, my monthly rental amount is R6,640.00, yet my rent for this month has increased to over R8,000.00. This is unacceptable and extremely frustrating. I have raised this matter with the office on several occasions, but it remains unresolved. I urgently request a detailed statement and explanation of every additional charge reflected on my account. I am particularly concerned about the increasing maintenance and water-related charges. I live in a bachelor flat with only my son, and our water consumption is limited. I therefore do not understand why these charges continue to increase to such significant amounts. I request a full breakdown of the water, maintenance, and any other additional charges being added to my monthly account. I am also extremely concerned about the condition of my bathroom, where there is a large hole that has remained unrepaired. I reported this issue to the building manager and provided photographs as evidence, yet no action has been taken to date. This condition is unacceptable and negatively affects our living environment. In addition, I previously requested to be removed from the debit order system because I receive my salary at a different time and need to manage my payments accordingly. I am concerned that this request may not have been properly addressed. I kindly request that these matters be treated as urgent and that I receive a written response addressing: The reason my monthly charges have increased from the agreed rental amount of R6,640.00 to over R8,000.00. A detailed breakdown of all additional charges, including water and maintenance costs. Immediate action to repair the hole in my bathroom. Confirmation regarding the cancellation or removal of the debit order arrangement. I have been patient and have raised these concerns several times, but I cannot continue paying unexplained and excessive charges while essential maintenance issues remain unresolved. I expect these matters to be investigated and resolved urgently. I look forward to receiving your prompt response. Kind regards Lerato

Very unprofessional agent don't know if he's a student or what but went to view an apartment, get to the wrong location then he's nowhere to be found, all those student receptionists were just rude and they didn't even let me and my son see the apartment because he's under 16 what nonsense is it that a single parent can stay at an apartment without their kids but they can visit it makes no damn sense to me
