No Payment

I worked at a restaurant named The Joint by the beach front in June and July 2017 and till today the company hasn't paid me my salary, I have called them, took them to the dept of labour but still nothing. I recently asked my lawyer to call them and query but the Manager on duty by the name of James **** and said they paid me knowing very well they haven't. I once whattsapped the owner Pano and asked him if is it fair to be an ex employee and still haven't got paid but he just read my message and ignored me. I don't understand why no feedback or response is given to my request till today and its been 3 months now still waiting for my salary.
