Rosebank College in Braamfontein has to be one of the worst of the worst college there is in SA

My biggest regret was registering with the IIE they sell student dreams but the service is ****ty and whenever you need assistance they will give you false promises of your matter being escalated yet nothing ever suffices to a point you’ll end up giving up. They never take student issues seriously the service is poor to an extent if I was ask to recommend a person to that school I would tell them to run and look the other way before applying at Rosebank Braamfonteint.

Here’s a background story, group 1 and 2 DJ student have has to put up with a ***** of a lecturer, who would call us clowns and tell us straight up that we will fail.

This particular lecturer went as far as talking badly about us on his social media pages about how and stating how he’s actually going to fail us. Fast forward to the end of the semester group 1 and 2 DJ student have failed two modules that are taught by the very same lecturer who was bullying us. Even after addressing the issue with him and the Program coordinator he still told us the the only way he will deal with us is through a pen by marking us down.

I am one student who invest her time and energy in all her work and never compromise when it comes to my school work and since I enrolled with Rosebank College in Braamfontein I have been a consistent student in producing good results and all my marks are proof of that.

Yet now I have to fail two modules because I spoke up on the injustices that we are being put through as student because of one guy who thinks our parents have enough money to be splashing around for us to come back and repeat modules out of spite and being told that student did not agree with his ways of lecturing.

We have endured so much from this lecture as student to a point that student were even afraid to attend his classes because of how condescending, aggressive, rude and belittling he was towards student.

How is it that both these groups can fail modules that are being taught by the same guy who actually went made it clear that he will fail student and nothing is done with that.

I believe it is fair that these two groups are given a different lecturer to mark their scripts fairly without any agenda behind the marking and stick to the rubric that is provided by the IIE. What confuses me the most is the fact does the IIE employment policy allows for their employee to misrepresent them on social media and still be proud to associate themselves with that person as the product of the IIE? It baffles me. All I am requesting is for my scripts to be remarked accordingly and with the IIE rubric followed that’s all cause I for one cannot afford to repeat a module and not graduate on time just because a lecturer has his own agenda with students and wants to be spiteful.

And FYI I have all screenshots of this lecturer speaking badly about student as well screenshots of student voicing out their concerns with this particular lecturer.

I hope and pray someone who know their job and values the right of student will take this matter up and consider the students grievances and the outcome will be considerate and fair.
