A right to education has been refused to my child by a so called "Idutywa school of Excellence"

Re: Letter of complaint. Good Day I, Siyabonga Mandla, a guardian of Lwando Mandla, a grade 10 student of The Idutywa School of Excellence situated in Idutywa wish to lodge a formal complaint against the school. During the Lwando’s third year of attending the school we ran into financial problems at home causing us to be in arrears with the fees. We communicated with the school and requested time to raise the outstanding monies. Lwando was refused entry to school after the July school holidays as he had attended initiation school during the holidays. The School believed that if he could attend initiation school then school fees could be paid. We reached an agreement with the school and the fees were paid up to date and Lwando sent back to school. However, he was refused entry on the grounds that a parent needed to accompany him to sign a payment contract. Several times Lwando and a guardian were sent to school only to be turned away. Numerous calls were made; however, the phones were not answered. When we eventually manage to contact the school, I was told that I had to go in myself and make an appointment with the school. Please bear in mind that I reside in Johannesburg and my mother in Cape Town. An appointment was duly made for the 9th August 2018, On arrival we were told we need to see the Principal, Ms Febana who was not available. A second appointment was duly set up for Friday of the 17th August. On arrival for the appointment I was once again told that the Principal was not available as she had gone East London with the children and could not see us. We then called the Director of the school Mr. Mata, who was very rude to us but eventually agreed to meet the following Sunday (19th August 2018) at 10H00. Sunday morning, 19 August at 10H00 I was in Kei Bridge waiting for Ms Febana and Mr Mata at the school for our meeting as arranged. Between 10H00 and 12H30 they continually advised me that they were on their way. I eventually left the school without seeing them at 12H30 as I had other commitments. On Tuesday the 21st August 2018 I called the Director to ask if I can send Lwando back to school since they did not arrive for the meeting on Sunday the 19th August. He was again very rude to me insisting that I come back and I must also come with my mother. I tried to explain the difficulty in this, as I am in Johannesburg and my mother is in Cape Town, however he would not listen to my reasoning and continued to shout telling me to take the child elsewhere and if I wanted to fight that he was ready for me. I have been trying to cooperate with them to the point that I have travelled to the Eastern Cape from Johannesburg twice and they could not honour the meetings. They are now requesting that I travel for the third time to go to the Eastern Cape with my mother who is in the Western Cape. My finances are already stretched to limit, hence the problem in the first place.
