Hungry Monk

We went to the Hungry Monk in Paternoster arriving at 7.30pm. The wine list was pathetic and we ordered our meal and waited 1hour and 15 minutes before it arrived. It wasn't busy and we asked for the manager who came over from where he was hiding behind the bar, reading his text messages. He said he would go to the kitchen and check but rather than coming back to inform us of what was happening he went straight back to where he was sitting and played on his phone again. The food was expensive and mediocre. Suggest if you are in Paternoster you look elsewhere to eat.
