Price Beat = Consumer Beat

I recently requested a quote for the trip with two operators and found that based in the exact requirements there was an approx 5-7k difference in price. As The Holiday Factory suggested I forward the competitor quote for a price beat opportunity, I did so. The result was shocking “ they went and contacted the other operator and threatened them with all kinds of things which resulted in the other operator refusing to honour the price quoted as they claim The holiday Factory is holding the booking and they cannot assist further - this is disgusting business practise and I was told by Sandy to complain if I wish to do so as Asata will support their business practise ! Nice one for the SA Travel Industry in 2019 !!
