HORRORMOON FROM HELL

<p>My wife and I went on honeymoon in Zanzibar at the Azoa resort and spa.</p> <p>From the moment we arrived we have had nothing but issues and disappointments one after the other.</p> <p>On arrival not even a welcome drink even after having to catch 2 flights and a taxi taking a whole day to get here.<br />We then get taken to our room which guess what has an interleading door to a family unit with a baby and toddler. We ipenes the door initially thinking it was another entrance door and saw kids playing. This is what a honeymoon is about? Is this acceptable?</p> <p>We then went for supper and had dried out meat and sc****s that were left from the main supper.</p> <p>Back at the room you couldn't use the toilet because it didn't flush. After 3 calls to reception and a mail to holiday factory the toilet eventually half flushes.</p> <p>We did get on the second day a bed with a towel swan on it and a warm bottle of sparkling wine in the evening a little to late.</p> <p>Mails have been sent to our travel agent and Lauren at Holiday factory with the option of spending a further 50k to 90k for other accommodation, or if we want to have an earlier flight home to loose everything except 5k. How is this possible or far considering that we are cutting our honeymoon short by a week and forced to stay in a place which does not have or promise us the honeymoon which we paid for.</p> <p>Saying we feel cheated is an understatement and holiday factory just takes your hard earned money and says "SORRY FOR YOU"</p> <p>Your loss is their monetary gain and they smile all the way to the bank and more.</p> <p>So much for a happy honeymoon or client. Will never use or recommend them again. We took this further to ASATA who ruled after all of this that The Holiday Factory was fair in their dealings with us. If this is the case then I must be reading different emails and have lost my guidence too what is right and wrong. I wonder if ASATA is on their books because any rational person could see that they didnt help whatsoever. Anyone wanting proof of emails are more than welcome to contact me and i will gladly forward them the mails.</p>
