Who gets the savings
We all know that we are in a drought period and that we are to help where we can. We were last weekend at Castleton Resort. We were told that we only get one set of towels and if we want an additional towel, it would cost R200-00. Who packets the additional funds, just because of the drought and does it cost R200-00 to wash a towel? We must all help each other and not one lot of the people get rich on a disaster. Each unit, depending on the unit size and maximum amount of guests it can occupy, is provided the relevant amount of towels upon check-in.
Due to the current water crisis, there are no towel changes done if a guest is occupying the unit for a weekend or midweek time span. Should a guest, however, request a towel change, the towels will be taken for laundering and a new set of towels will be provided for the unit. There will, however, be a R200.00 surcharge for same. The fee is not per towel, but per set of towels as required for the specific unit size booked.
