The Holiday Club membership cancellation

<p>I joined Holiday club in 2013 and signed the contract of paying R9 000.00 per month for six months. I managed to pay for only two months after I paid the deposit of R2000.00 due to unforeseen financial difficulties . I then asked if I can cancel the membership. I was advised to atleast reduce the monthly instalment to R999.00 for the period of 5 years as i could not afford R15000.00 cancellation fee and I have not used any points offered to me. I just continued to pay that R999.00 per month which is now over 3 years ago. I am now unemployed and cannot even afford that R999.00. I asked them again to please cancel the membership. They then told me to pay R10 000.00 for cancellation. I am not able to pay this amount and all I need is just to get out of this contract which I have never benefitted in anyway as I never even use any of the points. Can someone please assist in getting out of this. I have so far paid more than R40 000 without getting anything and I am still expected to pay as I only signed the contract.</p>
